The 2019 NHL Awards, hosted by SNL’s Kenan Thompson, took over Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas for an exciting night celebrating hockey. The show brought out some of the league’s biggest players, including Sidney Crosby, Ryan O’Reilly, and P.K Subban.
The night was filled with unforgettable moments, including a couple of great reunions: Kel Mitchell joined Kenan onstage as Ed from Good Burger, while Montreal Canadiens player Carey Price surprised a young fan who just lost his mother, bringing the house down to tears. Thomas Middleditch, A.K.A .Canadian sports broadcaster/hockey fanatic Tony Babcock, delivered some hilarious interviews with the Hart nominees, while Emmy award-winning actor Jon Hamm shared the stage with Stanley Cup champs and his favorite team, the St. Louis Blues. Jeopardy!’s Alex Trebek closed out the show with presenting the night’s biggest award, the Hart Memorial Trophy, to Tampa Bay Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov.
The 2019 iHeartRadio Wango Tango really brought the heat for this year’s official kickoff to summer! Additionally, Ryan’s co-host, Jordin Sparks, hung out backstage with the stars to talk all things summer.
ANOTHER ONE in the books! DJ Khaled hosted this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards, bringing the fun and slime to a whole new level. There was even a slime jacuzzi! Some of our favorite celebs were in attendance and received the highest kids’ choice honor of getting slimed, including Will Smith, Chris Pratt, Adam Sandler, and Josh Peck.
Migos turned up the party performing a medley of their hits, including “Stir Fry,” while the original cast of “Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical” closed out the show (before our host, DJ Khaled, got the ultimate sliming, of course!) with an energetic performance of the legendary character’s theme song.
The show also gave audiences sneak peeks at highly anticipated and upcoming movies, “Shazam!,” “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” and Disney’s “Aladdin.” Presenting these sneak peeks were none other than some of the cast members themselves, including Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Zachary Levi, Isabela Moner, and Micheal Peña.

Fun Fact: During the show, there was a ton of behind-the-scenes action! We had a giant school bus, decorated especially for iHeartCountry Festival. Either before (or after!) our artists played on stage, they visited the bus and were shot by our film crew to create an incredible show open, you’d have to see to believe.
The 2018 iHeartRadio Wango Tango by AT&T was INSANE. It was the first large event to take place in the new soccer stadium located in downtown LA, BOC Stadium. The energy from the audience was out of this world; we couldn’t have asked for a better show.

The 2018 NHL Awards were jam-packed with emotional tributes, daring magical acts, and awards presented to the incredible talent within the league.
The hosts of the show were the players and coaches. This year we believed that it was important to truly recognize that not only on the ice, but off the ice as well, the players and coaches are incredible and truly serve and inspire their community. When it comes to the tragedies that took place in Parkland, Vegas, and Humboldt, everyone stepped up to help their communities put the pieces back together. Dempsey Productions was proud to be a part of honoring these teams!
Fun Fact: TBD
